This is Edmonton on the 1st of July 1983, the day that city's Summer Universiade opened. Consider it part of a getting-to-know-you exercise with the nation's architecture and history. Whyte Avenue is basically a straight line near the bottom of the map, while Jasper Avenue zigs and zags from the old Royal Alberta Museum (at left) to Sir Winston Churchill Square (top right). Screenprinted in a 4th edition of 110 copies by Unik in November of 2016 at 24" square, two colours on archival white 80 lb Cougar smooth cover paper. Dimensions include a 1.5" margin. Signed and editioned. This print is archival.
